Equans France is upgrading the Billancourt power substation
The Ineo Postes et Centrales de l’Ile-de-France branch, a division of Equans France, is successfully continuing the project to completely renovate the source substation located in Boulogne-Billancourt, in department 92. This major project has a clear objective: to modernize the infrastructure of our client, ENEDIS, to ensure the safety, reliability, and performance of electrical equipment.
Modernization at the Heart of Energy Infrastructure
This project involves the complete replacement of the high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems, including the installation of power transformers in enclosed enclosures, the upgrading of the high-voltage half-buses, and the installation of digital control and monitoring equipment.
By replacing the old equipment, Equans France is supporting ENEDIS to ensure optimal and sustainable operation, meeting today’s network performance and safety challenges.
Tangible benefits for the grid and the teams:
-
Improved reliability of the power distribution system
-
Improving the safety of facilities and operators
-
Modernizing equipment for a scalable network
-
Implementation in compliance with the most stringent technical and safety standards
The project is part of a responsible and innovative approach, leveraging the technical expertise of the Equans France teams to support the energy transition.
Electrical modernization work carried out by Equans France in Billancourt
The technical teams carry out several essential operations, including:
