Vacuum engineering and leak testing

Primary, secondary and ultra-high vacuum systems, including pumping units and associated networks.

We can intervene in the entire process:

Design studies (vacuum, return to atmospheric pressure, nitrogen buttering);
Prefabrication of stainless steel or aluminum alloy networks, assembly;
Production of function control command, turbo-molecular pumps (PTM) or cryogenic pumps (CRP), sensors and valves;
Commissioning;
Maintenance / operation.

Leak tests (Cofrend II*) using various methods (global Helium, pressure variation, etc.)

Writing and checking sealing procedures using a Cofrend III LT;
Helium leak test according to NF EN 13185 to detect leaks up to a rate of 10-13 Pa.m3/s (10-12 mbar.l/s) ;
Leak testing to ISO 10648-2 for gloveboxes and nuclear ventilation duct networks;
Leak testing to Eurovent standard for class A, B, C and D ventilation ductwork;
Penetrant inspection of welds.

*Axima personnel are COFREND certified. Recognized since 1978, this certifying body has been accredited since 1996 by COFRAC, to ensure certification of the skills of non-destructive testing agents. Our agents are COFREND II LT (leak testing) and COFREND II PT (penetrant testing).
