Signing of the double acquisition on 1 July with, from left to right, Jean-Marie Henry, Managing Director of Destais & Blot, and new Branch Manager of Ineo Caen - Grégoire de Chillaz, Deputy Director of Ineo Grand Paris Normandie and Alain Piquet, Chairman of Destais & Blot
With this double acquisition, effective 1 July, Ineo becomes the leader in electrical engineering in Orne and Calvados and strengthens its position as a local expert. This operation will enable Ineo, which already has a strong presence in the industrial markets, to expand into the tertiary market. The new entity has 70 employees and a turnover of €11 million.
The acquisition of Destais & Blot comes at the same time as the launch of EQUANS, the new world leader in multi-technical services. Present across the entire value chain, EQUANS intends to help its clients meet the challenge of a triple transition - energy, industrial and digital. Through its historic local brands such as Ineo and Axima, EQUANS has a strong territorial footprint and excellent technical know-how in design, installation, maintenance and performance services. With 27,000 employees, EQUANS France has a turnover of 4.9 billion euros.
"On the ground, the Ineo and Destais & Blot teams know each other and already work together. We want to position Ineo Grand Paris Normandie as a key player at regional level while capitalising on Destais & Blot's good image.
stresses Grégoire de Chillaz, Managing Director of Ineo Grand Paris Normandie.
"Through this acquisition, EQUANS France confirms its ambition in energy services and its desire to support the electrical engineering professions. By combining our expertise in complementary fields with territorial density, we are choosing efficiency to serve our customers."
says Pierre Hardouin, Managing Director of EQUANS France.
